CCRA’s Indoor Facility: 210 6th Street, Verplanck (the Old Schoolhouse, 2nd floor) Lake Meahagh, located off Westchester Avenue in Verplanck, weather permitting and advance notification will be given
Learn to row basic stroke using Concept 2 Rowing Machines with certified Concept 2 indoor instructor
Learn the parts of the boat and basic commands
Watch short videos of on-water rowing and discuss what good rowing looks like
Row one session in West Point’s Indoor Tank Facility using real oars in moving water, the closest thing to being on the water without being on the water! Spring session will follow with 2 sessions in the tanks.
